Queen Elizabeth National Park is renowned as the second largest and oldest game park in Uganda. It is the best place to go for a game drive since it harbors 95 animal species and around 600 bird species as well as Chimpanzee trekking which is conducted in Kyambura Gorge.
Bwindi Forest National Park is known as home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world and the best place to go for gorilla trekking.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will be picked by our driver guide from your hotel, take you through a short briefing about the safari. Then after, take a drive to southwestern part of Uganda a journey that is estimated 8 to 9 hours. On your way you will have a stopover along Masaka road at the equator take photos, and view the experiment made. Proceed a drive to Mbarara town for lunch en route. After lunch, continue the journey to the park passing via large banana plantations, woodland, rolling hills, and terraced landscapes driving to the lodge. Have dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Community Rest Camp –Budget, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge – Mid-range, Mahogany Springs Lodge -Luxury
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 days Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee trekking safari, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on their location on that particular day. During trekking, you will enjoy amazing views of other primates, animals, plants, and bird species among others. Once the gorillas allocated you will be allowed to spend an hour with them in their natural environment, which gives you a chance to learn more about their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, enjoy unforgettable photography, and record the moments to show people back home.
After the exciting moment with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive at the park late evening, and check into your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge –Budget, Elephant Hab Lodge – Mid-range and Elephant Plains – Luxury.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to Kampala
After an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on where the chimpanzees are located. Chimpanzee trekking in Queen is done in Kyambura Gorge. When chimpanzees have been found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a chance to learn more about their lifestyle, and behaviors, watch them feed, play in trees, take photographs, and record videos with a flash-less camera.
After the one-hour experience with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the meeting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and start the journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch along the way. After lunch, you will continue the journey to Kampala. Arriving early evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of advice.
