Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Depending on your location in Kigali on the first day of the 2 days’ gorilla trekking safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park The journey takes about 4 and 20 minutes via Cyanika border. On the way you will enjoy great views of beautiful country sides, rolling hills terraced farmlands, and beautiful scenery among others. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge -Midrange Accommodation/Buhoma Lodge – Luxury
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Gorilla Trekking: You will have early morning breakfast served with tasty donuts with packed lunch boxes. Your driver will pick you and drive you to the park head quarter for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking before heading out on your unbeaten experience of gorilla trekking in beautiful montane rain forest. After a short briefing, you will be accompanied by the ranger who will lead you into forest trails to search for gorillas. The trek can take 2 to7 hours depending on the movement of gorillas. Once gorillas are found, you will be given one hour to watch them as they play around, feed their younger ones, learn their life style as you will enjoy your packed lunch boxes with unbeaten picture taking for your future remembrance. After hike back to the park headquarters meet your safari driver –drives you back to the lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali /Kigali Airport
Return to Kigali: Wake up on leisurely morning and have breakfast, check out of the lodge and then meet up with your driver guide to drive you to the Batwa culture site where you will be excited with their amazing tradition dance ,storytelling. Then after, drive back to Kigali to be dropped to Kigali International Airport or be dropped to any advised place. back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport or at any place of advice.
