Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up in Bushenyi or Kisoro and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Depending on your location in Bushenyi on the first day of the 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then take off the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park which covers 4hrs and 20 minutes via Mbarara.
While on the way you will enjoy spectacular views of beautiful countryside, rolling hills terraced farmlands, and scenery many more. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge -Midrange Accommodation, Buhoma Lodge -Luxury
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Gorilla Trekking: Wake up early and prepare for an exciting activity after breakfast. You will be picked up by your driver guide to drop you at the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking tours.
After a short briefing, you will be led by the ranger in the gorilla’s natural habitat to search for gorillas – an experience that takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on their movement. Once you allocate them, you will be given an hour to spend with the gorilla family as you observe their stunning behavior, feed their younger ones, learn their lifestyle as well as enjoy your packed lunch boxes with memorable picture taking. After the hike back to the park headquarters meet your safari driver to drive you back to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport
Return to Kampala: After your leisurely morning breakfast served at the lodge with tasty snacks. You will check out of the lodge and be driven back to Bushenyi or any place of advice.
