The 4 Days Bwindi Gorillas and Queen Wildlife Safari takes you to most privileged and visit safari destination on the Uganda Safari that is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda. The trip starts and ends in Uganda.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park famously known as home to half world’s remaining gorilla population, simply divided into four gorilla sectors with in the park that is Rushaga, Ruhija, Nkuringo and Buhoma. It is located in south western Uganda and estimates about 8 to 9 driving hours from Kampala or Entebbe.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is renowned as Uganda’s most visited national park and is often paired with Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park. The park is home to vast wildlife species over 95 mammals and a great prolific site for birders ‘’600 bird species’’. It is also famous for viewing big cats including the unique tree climbing lions and leopards.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi National Park

Depending on your point of location in Kampala , you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park which takes about 8 to 9 hours’ drive inclusive a stopover at the quarter in Kayabwe  for memorable photography ,view water experience and visit the craft shops around  .Then proceed a drive to Mbarara with a stopover for lunch En-route  and after you shall continue to drive through beautiful country side ,rolling hills ,banana plantation among others .Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National park

Wake up have early morning breakfast served with donuts with packed lunch boxes. Your driver will pick you and transfers you to the park head quarter for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking before heading out your incredible experience of gorilla trekking in green beautiful montane rain forest. After a short briefing you will be accompanied by the ranger and you’re free to ask him any question about mountain gorillas. The trek can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of gorillas. When you find gorillas, you will be given one hour to watch them as they play around, feed their younger ones, learn their life style as well as enjoying your packed lunch boxes with memorable picture taking for your future remembrance. After hike back to the park headquarters meet your safari driver –drives you back to the lodge for refreshment and overnight stay at the same lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Ishasha sector

After an early breakfast served at the lodge, then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park passing through the Ishasha sector with chances to view the tree climbing Lions on the big fig trees. You will also be able to view other animals like; elephants, buffaloes, hartebeest and various antelopes as well as savanna bird species. After the game drive in Ishasha sector you will have en-route lunch and then continue to park and upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Departure to Kampala/Entebbe

Wake early at 6am drive to the park for morning game drive in Kasenyi plains of Queen, where you will be able to watch vast of animals at a close view such as African elephant, African buffalo, Uganda kobs, warthogs, giant forest hog and morning hours is way to come up to predators of the park such as lions, leopards, spotted hyenas among others. After, transfer back to the lodge enjoy your delicious breakfast, check out and start your journey back to Kampala with a en- route lunch and another stopover at the Equator for future photography and water experiment. After, you shall proceed to Kampala to be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your flight or to any place of advice
