Activities to participate include; Golden Monkey Tracking and Gorilla Habituation Experience among others.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park – Kisoro
On day 1 of the 4 Days Uganda Golden monkeys and Gorilla Habituation Safari, depart to Entebbe airport for your flight to Bwindi. Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, a member of Aero link staff will assist you through check-in for your scheduled domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Flights to Kisoro only operate once daily in the morning. Depart Entebbe airport at 07:00 am and arrive in Kisoro airstrip at 8:15 am. When you land at the Kisoro airstrip, your driver/guide will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge where you will unwind. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Mulehe – Mid-range
Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking
On day 2 of the 4 Days Uganda Golden monkeys and Gorilla Habituation Safari, after breakfast, drive to the park head offices and then have a briefing about the golden monkeys Next, enter the park taking the golden monkey tracking trail, and on this experience, other primates, birds, and butterflies will be spotted. After spending time with the golden monkeys have lunch, and connect to the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Forest National Park. Check-in at your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge for a mid-range
Day 3: Gorilla habituation experience
On day 3 of the 4 Days Uganda Golden monkeys and Gorilla Habituation Safari, enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch boxes for a briefing by the ranger guides and later head into the forest for your trekking experience. Gorilla habituation in Bwindi involves visiting a semi-habituated gorilla family that first undergoes a training process of about 2 to 3 years. If the park ranger notices that gorillas in this sector are fully trained to have eye, contact with human beings. This activity takes a full day and you are granted 4 hours to stay with these unique creatures. After the habituation experience, meet your guide and drive back to your lodge to rest. Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe & Departure.
You will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge, and transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your flight departing at 8:30 am and arriving at Entebbe International Airport at 11:25 am. While at Entebbe airport, wait for your no-ward flight back home. (No meals will be provided on our end).
