Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On your first day of the 6 Days Uganda Gorilla, Cultural, and Wildlife Safari, our safari driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or depending on your point location, brief you about the safari as he transfers you to the southwestern region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. As you drive there, you will have a stopover at the Equator for a memorable photoshoot and water experiment. Proceed to Mbarara town for en-route lunch. Thereafter, drive straight to the park. Arrive at the park, in the late evening, and check into your booked lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience.

On day 2 of the 6 Days Uganda Gorilla, Cultural, and Wildlife Safari, wake up early and have breakfast with your packed lunch boxes. As your driver guide will be outside waiting for you to drop you at the meeting point for the briefing about gorilla dos and don’ts. After, you will go meet a park ranger to escort you through different forest trails head looking for an assigned gorilla family. The trekking can take 2 to 7 hours, depending on the movements of their inhabitants.

On finding them, you will be given an hour to spend with gorillas as you observe them as they survive in the forest, play, feed, behave, take memorable photographs as well as capture videos. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Cultural tour and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early morning breakfast on day 3 of the 6 Days Uganda Gorilla, Cultural, and Wildlife Safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for an amazing cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa pygmies, learn about their amazing lifestyle, visit their homesteads, enjoy their cultural performances among others.

After the community tour, drive back to the lodge for lunch where you will check out of the lodge and take a drive to Lake Bunyonyi the second-deepest lake in Africa. Upon arrival, check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Boat cruise and cultural tour

After having breakfast and then go for an amazing boat cruise where you will be able to explore over 29 islands, view different bird species, terraced farmlands many others. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch where you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for an optional cultural tour where you will interact with the local people and get to learn about their way of living and others. After the cultural tour experience. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park-afternoon boat cruise

After a delicious breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. After, go for an afternoon boat cruise where you will be able to spot hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, waterbucks, and warthogs can be seen while quenching for thirst along the shores as well as water bird species. Thereafter, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala

On last day of the 6 Days Uganda Gorilla, Cultural, and Wildlife Safari, after having a lazy breakfast followed by checking out of the lodge. Then, go for a morning game drive where you expect to have a great view of numerous animals like waterbucks, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, topi, giraffes, and warthogs among others which can be seen while grazing in an open savannah plain. After, you will drive out of the park and proceed to Kampala with en-route lunch at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will take photos, and buy craft items. After continuing the journey to Kampala.Arriving in the early evening. Then, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or to any place of advice.
