7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari
The 7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari leads you to an iconic wildlife safari destination on Uganda Safari. Such safari places are Kidepo Valley National Park which is located in the northeastern Uganda region estimated 11 to 12 hours’ drive from Kampala and home to vast rare wild animals and birds so on.
Visit Murchison Falls National Park located in the northwestern Uganda region and home to a large population of wildlife and bird species as well as the main attraction ‘’the waterfall- Murchison Falls’’ which attracts thousands of tourists annually to come visit the park.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kitgum,
Depending on your agreed location in Kampala, our driver guide will pick you up early in the morning, brief you about the safari, and then start the journey to Kidepo Valley National Park which lies in northeastern Uganda. On the way, you will have an en-route lunch and enjoy impressive views of the scenic landscape, countryside, and plantations. You will arrive in Kitgum, check into the hotel for dinner, and overnight stay at Acaki Lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo National Park and evening game drive
On the second day of the 7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari, you will have breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel to transfer to Kidepo National Park. On your way, you will have great scenic views of the landscape, hills, Karamojong manyatas many others. On arriving, you will check into the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will freshen up and relax as you prepare yourself for an evening game drive where you will get a chance to take unique pictures and have spectacular views of the sunset, animals such as giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, lions, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest’s many others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah lodge-midrange.

Day 3: Morning game drive and cultural tour
After an early breakfast on the third day of the 7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari you will have an early breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive. During the game drive expect to view different animal species such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, bush duikers, jackals, buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, giraffes, zebras, bird species, and others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go on a cultural tour where you will visit the Karamojong people who live near the national park. During the cultural tour, you will interact with the local people in the community which offers you an opportunity to learn more about their beautiful lifestyle, and culture, learn about their way of living, visit their homesteads which are known as manyattas, enjoy traditional performances in form of dances and songs, listen to ancient stories and others. After the cultural tour, you will meet up with your driver and drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Kidepo National Park
Have breakfast and brace yourself for another fabulous game drive in the vast savannah of Kidepo Valley intercepted by patches of Borassus palm and the rising scenic hills. Enjoy the rewarding views of the morning sun shining over the hills of Lomej, the Lotukei Mountains before the rays strike down to the endless valleys of Kidepo and Narus valley, view different animals such as buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, elands, impalas, giraffes among others.
Return to the lodge for lunch and unwind a bit before heading on another game drive to Kidepo Valley to visit the hot springs where you will be able to spot Ostriches within the region and other animals that you might have missed during the previous game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast on the fifth day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, you will have en-route lunch and enjoy thrilling views of the scenery, and landscape among others, and upon arrival, you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the waterfall, water splashes, and others. From the top of the falls, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Pakuba Safari lodge-midrange

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the sixth day of the 7 Days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Safari, you will meet up with your driver guide and go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas among others if you are lucky, view other animals like buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribi, warthogs, bird species among others. After the morning game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an afternoon boat cruise where you will take memorable pictures, and view animals like hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, other animals to see include elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes among others drinking water along the shores, aquatic bird species many more. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Departure to Kampala via Ziwa rhino sanctuary
On the last day of the 7 days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Park safari, you will enjoy your aroma coffee /tea served with delicious snacks. followed by a check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. On the way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking where after you will continue with en-route lunch. Upon arrival in Kampala, our driver guide will drop you off at your hotel or drop you at any place of your choice.
End of the 7 days Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls National Park.
