7 Days Uganda Eastern Safari Tour
The 7 Days Uganda Eastern Safari Tour is a combined magnificent safari experience taking you to different several places that as Jinja, and Mabira forest, and also exploring Mount Elgon’s attractions as well and visiting Sipi Falls for hiking adventures.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Jinja
You will have an early breakfast and travel east of Kampala to Jinja with a stopover in the Mabira forest for a short nature walk. After, drive directly to Jinja ‘’source of the Nile’’, you will pass through small villages and see people go about their daily routine activities. In the afternoon you will relax at the impressive Bujagali Falls, ride along the shores of the Nile on the back of a horse, go kayaking, enjoy a village walk, or rent a mountain bike and explore their Forest known as one of the tropical forests in Uganda. A short hiking experience inside this forest will enable you to spot numerous species of primates, birds, and beautiful flies.
After a hiking experience in Mabira, continue to drive to Jinja through the beautiful scenery to tea and sugar cane plantations along the road and the roadside stalls studded with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Arrive in Jinja, go visit the genuine origin of the Nile where the longest drive in the world starts. You will have lunch at the hotel and later go visit around the source. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Rafting on the Nile
After having morning breakfast served at the hotel, go for the magnificent white water rafting on the Nile River. The rafting experience starts at the source of the Nile at 9:30 am with a comprehensive briefing and being fitted with the perfect rafting gear. The rafting is done on an18 18-kilometer stretch of the Nile River and no prior experience of rafting is required.
The first rapids are of low grades ‘’1,2’’ to build the confidence of the participants before guiding them gradually into the more challenging rapid grades.
While on the activity, you will be able to enjoy the thrilling scenery thundering rapids of the White Nile and watch the amazing bird life as you drift quietly between the rapids. You will be treated to drinks and delicious juice after the rafting which you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay 2 Friends Jinja –Mid-range

Day 3: Quad Biking and Horse riding
After your relaxed breakfast, go on a 4-hour quad bike experience where you will be following the small tracks through the bushes that lead us to stunning view point’s overlooking the rapids of the Nile. Also, pass through small villages meet up with people as they go for their day route activities. In the afternoon you relax at the thrilling falls, and ride along the shores of the Nile on the back of a horse as you enjoy the surrounding beauty at the Nile. Dinner and overnight at the above.
Day 4: Transfer to Sipi
Have your breakfast and then set off to explore the east towards Tororo. This area is full of the unique heritage and culture of Imbalu circumcision where young men are involved into adulthood. During your drive, you will have an en–route lunch in Mbale with beautiful viewpoints of Sipi Village, nestled between mountains and beautiful waterfalls. Have dinner and overnight at Sipi River Lodge.

Day 5: Hike to Sipi Falls
After having your breakfast go for a hike to the beautiful Sipi Falls that Cascade over 100 meter, proceed with a steep climb to a series of caves as you follow the challenging trails to two other waterfalls.
You will go through maize fields, coffee gardens, banana plantations, and typical African homesteads on your way and a magnificent view over the valley.
At the end of the day, you will experience a rewarding sunset before returning to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay above.

Day 6: Visit Mount Elgon National Park
You will have breakfast and drive to Mount Elgon Forest to explore with the hike that will enable you to explore the diverse wildlife species.
Each of these hike areas has short walk trails ranging between 3 kilometers and 11 kilometers that offer a perfect chance to experience Mount Elgon’s beautiful plants and wildlife in a short period. In both, you’re to enjoy great views of regenerating forests, fields of colorful flowers, extensive stands of bamboo, and various birds and wild animals. Have dinner and overnight stay at your lodge- Sipi River Lodge.

Day 7: Depart Back to Kampala
You will leave Mount Elgon after breakfast and drive back to the capital city arriving in the afternoon.
