Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Kigali
Depending on your arrival time at Kigali International airport on the first day of the 8 Days Uganda Safari from Kigali, you will be welcomed by our company driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then go for a city tour in case time allows where you will be able to visit the Kigali genocide memorial center, craft centers, Kimironko market many more. After the city tour, you will transfer to the hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight stay at Onomo Hotel Kigali-midrange or Step town hotel-budget

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park,
After breakfast on the second day of the safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing via Katuna border in Kabale. On the way you will have en-route lunch and enjoy impressive views of the rolling hills, countryside, terraced farmlands among others. Upon arrival in the park, you will continue drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Bakiga lodge/Buhoma haven lodge-midrange or Broadbill forest camp/Buhoma community-budget

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast on the third day of the 8 Days Uganda Safari from Kigali, you will carry packed lunch and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and drives you to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla group to trek and start trekking which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are found. During trekking you will have great views of animals, small primates, different bird species among others. On locating them, you will be allowed an hour with them in their habitat which gives you an opportunity to watch them as they carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, observe their behaviors, take great photos and record the breathtaking moments to show people back home.
After the one-hour experience with the gentle giants you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking, meet up with your driver guide to drives you back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
You will have breakfast on the fourth day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way you will have a stopover in Ishasha sector, southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will get an opportunity to adventure the rarely tree climbing lions which will be lying up in fig tree branches ‘’on your lucky day’’. After the game drive in Ishasha sector you will have lunch and then proceed the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hab-midrange or Pumba safari cottages-budget.

Day 5: Morning game drive/ optional lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise
You will have a relaxed breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you expect to spot large herds of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, warthogs which will be grazing in the open savannah plains view predators like lions, leopards if you are lucky, variety of bird species among others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an interesting boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water body that joins Lake George and Lake Edward. While on boat cruise which takes about 2 hours you will get a chance to explore elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs drinking water along the shores, view large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, water birds and also view fishermen organizing their fishing nets along the water banks. After the boat ride return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up have a relaxed breakfast, checkout of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Lake Bunyonyi known as the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika lied in Kabale. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive and check into the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Arcadia cottages-midrange or Lake Bunyonyi eco resort-budget
Day 7: Boat ride and relaxation
On the seventh day of the 8 Days Uganda Safari from Kigali, you will have breakfast at leisure and later meet up with your driver guide to go for an impressive boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi where you will be able to explore over 29 beautiful islands, view various bird species, animals, enjoy great views of the terraced farmlands, rewarding scenery many more.
After the boat ride, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch where after you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or engage in optional activities such as Zip lining, guided nature walks, cultural tour many more. Have dinner and overnight as above.

Day 8: Departure to Kigali
On the last day of the 8 Days Uganda Safari from Kigali, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to depart back to Kigali. On the way you will have a stopover for lunch where after you will proceed the journey to Kigali. On arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Kigali international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of your choice.
