Day 1: Pick up and Travel to Volcanoes National Park
Start your day with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kigali or Musanze after a delicious breakfast. After, you will head on a scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling countryside. Arrive at the park’s headquarters for a short briefing about the golden monkey rules and registrations. Then, follow your expert guide on a 2 to 4-hour trekking experience through lush bamboo forests as you listen to sweet sounds of rustling leaves.
Once you find them, you will spot the golden monkey as you experience their golden fur flashing as they leap through the trees, nibble on bamboo and play with active primates.
