Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Upon your arrival at Kigali -Rwanda/Kigali Airport, you will be transferred to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda. Depending on the arrival time, you will use one of the borders to enter Uganda, either via Cyanika border or Gatuna Border post. You will pass through unique rolling hills as you leave Rwanda for Uganda. Arriving late afternoon to check into your lodge for lunch and rest. With an option of doing a cultural tour to visit Batwa pygmies. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge -Midrange, Travelers Best Camp – Budget

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga and depart to Kigali
Enjoy an early breakfast and then be transferred to the Parkhead quarter by 7:30 am for briefing. At around 8:00 am, you will join other visitors in groups of eight to start your trek in search of the great mountain gorillas. The trekking experience is one to seven hours, depending on the movements of the animals. On finding them, you will be allowed one hour to spend with a gorilla family assigned to you, learn how they survive in their natural jungle, behave, habit, feed, and cunning juveniles observe the playful as well as capture videos for your future remembrance. After an iconic encounter with the mountain gorillas, walk back to the starting point to be rewarded with your gorilla certificate. Thereafter, go meet your driver guide to connect to your lodge, and have lunch. After lunch, check out of the lodge and drive back to Kigali for your onward departure flight.
