Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Budongo forest in Murchison Falls National Park,
Depending on your location on the first day of the 2 Days Budongo Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Uganda, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, brief you about the safari, and then start the journey to Budongo forest which lies on the promises of Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you will enjoy impressive views of the scenery, and landscape with a stopover for lunch. After lunch, you will continue to drive to the park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Budongo eco-lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest and Depart back
After an early breakfast on the last day of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to embark on a chimpanzee trekking briefing at the meeting point. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 2 hours to 4 hours depending on their movements because they like to move from one place to another looking for food. During trekking, you will be able to spot different bird species, plant and tree species, and other primates among others. Once the chimpanzees are allocated you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn about their behaviors, and habits, watch them breastfeed, feed, play, enjoy photo shoots, and record the moments for your future remembrance.
After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch where you will start the journey back to any place of your choice.
