Our 2 Days Lake Mburo Tour leads you to queen of the jungle, Uganda’s breathtaking national park ‘’Lake Mburo National Park’’. The safari gives a perfect chance to adventure a variety of mammal species that is to say zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, crocodiles, hippos and many antelopes. Besides that, there are also gigantic eland, greater Kudu, Jackson’s hartebeest, waterbuck, the semi-aquatic sitatunga, Grant’s gazelle, the Uganda kob, Oribi, Topis among others. There are many distinguished by their size, colour, horns among other features.

Fact, Lake Mburo National Park is located in Kiluhura district in the western region of largest city in the sub region ‘’Mbarara’’. The location covers 240 kilometers ‘’150 miles’’ by road west of Kampala Uganda’s capital and largest city.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to the Lake Mburo National Park

Depending on your location, our driver guide will pick you up and briefs you about the 2 Day Lake Mburo Tour. Thereafter, drive towards the western part of Uganda via the big towns of Masaka, Lyantonde and finally make it to Lake Mburo National Park.

As drive there, you will have a stopover at the drum maker’s village to briefly watch how local drums are made. Then continue for lunch in the park at the chosen lodge and proceed through the game trails for a chance for exploring zebras, elands, buffaloes, waterbucks and warthogs.

You will continue for an evening boat ride with a chance of spotting hippos, crocodiles, topis, fish eagles among other animal and bird species. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive through Lake Mburo National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will go for a full morning game drive through Lake Mburo National Park in search of the shy elands, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, Topis, impalas among other different wildlife.

The morning adventure activity takes about 3 hours. Then head back to the lodge for your full breakfast followed by check out from the hotel rooms and drive out of the park through the game trails with another game viewing.

Then, drive back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch in Masaka /Uganda Equator for memorable picture taking. Proceed to Kampala to be dropped to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for your flight departure.
