This 2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari is a fabulous short safari tour package leading you to a nearly safari destination to Uganda’s capital city known as Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo National Park is a notably gifted site with over 315 bird species and a vast number of wild animals ranging from zebra, eland, buffalo, Oribi, deffasa water back, leopard hyena, hippo, and reed back among others. During your safari here – you will participate in astonishing activities like boat cruises and game drives among others.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Afternoon boat cruise
Depending on your location in Kampala/ Entebbe on the first day of the 2 days Lake Mburo wildlife safari, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel very early in the morning, brief you about the safari and then set off the journey to Lake Mburo national park in western Uganda. On the way you will enjoy thrilling views and then increase the journey to the park. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise, after lunch, drive to the landing site for a remarkable boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 hours, you will have thrilling views of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes along the shores, view water birds many more. After the amazing boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Eagles Nest lodge-budget or Kigarama Wilderness lodge-midrange
Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
After an early breakfast on the last day of the 2 days Lake Mburo wildlife safari, followed by check out of the lodge and meeting up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to spot different animals including giraffes, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, oribi, topi among others grazing in the open savannah plains, view the beautiful sunrise, different bird species many more.
After the game drive you will drive out of the park and depart back to Kampala with en-route lunch at the Equator. After lunch, you will proceed the journey to Kampala where you will reach early evening and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel or at any place of advice.
