Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Mgahinga – Gorilla tracking
The journey kicks off early morning either from Kisoro or Kibale.
As the day begins, you will be picked up from your hotel by our driver guide to drive you to the park headquarters. Upon arrival at Ntebeko, you will be briefed about gorilla tracking dos and don’ts.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is home to two gorilla groups though the most popular one is Nyakagezi group, a charming gorilla family with four silverback gorillas. You will be allowed to spend with them an hour to experience the magic of encountering these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
The highlight of the day is meeting these unique gentle giant in their special natural environment. The experience is worth it and quite an unforgettable experience.
