2 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari
Our 2 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Safari is a short safari tour package that leads you to the house of the world’s highest population of endangered chimpanzees which is Kibale Forest National Park. Furthermore, Kibale National Park hosts over 375 bird species thus becoming a birding ground. The park is located in the western Uganda region, seated on about 795 square kilometers and it estimated 5 to 6 hours’ drive to make it to Kibale National Park.
This safari trip starts and ends in Kampala or at Entebbe International Airport.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Travel to Kibale: Depending on the traveler’s point of location, our company representative with pick you up from your hotel or at the Airport. The guide will brief you about the safari before you set off to Kibale National Park. You will proceed to the park with en–route lunch in Fort Portal town. Later, go visit Amabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru. Arrive at your booked lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking –Return
Chimpanzee Tracking: After early morning breakfast, you will be driven at the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee tracking rules. After briefing, you will be accompanied by a park ranger in search for endangered chimpanzees in a group of six people. As you trek, expect to see other primate species such as red-tailed monkeys, white and black monkeys, and colobus monkeys among others.
On finding them, you will be allowed an hour to spend with them as you watch and learn about their behavior, habits, feeding, and playing as well as enjoying memorable photo shoots.
After experiencing a memorable activity, track back to the meeting point where you will find your driver guide waiting for you to drive you back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport with en-route lunch. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or at any advised place.
