Paraa Safari Lodge
Paraa Safari Lodge is an excellent luxurious safari lodge found in Murchison Falls National Park that provides comfort ,relaxation and adventure to its guest on visit. Murchison Falls National Park home to diverse wildlife biodiversity that contains number of species over 76 mammals and 451 different bird species.
The River Nile attracts many of wildlife species such as crocodiles ,hippos and water birds. Other animals species to see includes; Lion, warthogs, buffalo, unique aquatic sitatunga antelope, giant forest hog, Uganda Kobs, top ,waterbuck ,elephant and leopard among others .They can be adventured on both boat cruise and game drive viewing.
Birdwatching
Bird species to see during your bird watching experience in the park includes; rare shoe bills stalk, white -tailed Lark, Verraux’s Eagle, Papyrus Gonolek, Lesser and Greater flamingo, Martial Eagle, cattle egret among others.
Game safari
This experience is best done at Buligi area west of Paraa to the Delta point where the Victoria Nile goes through the Norther tip of Lake Albert to become the Albert and it takes around three hours. While on game drive expect to see buffalo, giraffe, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeest and Oribis, if you are luck, you can see lions and leopards among others.
