2 Days Murchison Falls Safari
This 2 Day Murchison Falls Safari is a short tour package offering remarkable safari activities including a game drive with great explore of vast wildlife such as lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopard, Jackson’s heart beasts, Oribis, giraffes, Kobs, Warthogs, waterbucks among others. You will also enjoy a boat cruise on River Nile in which you will watch a lot of wildlife on the river shores including Buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks and lots of birds.
Day 1: Leave Kampala to Murchison Falls Np – Boat Trip ‘’4 to 5 hrs. drive’’
You will start your journey early morning by 6:30am after breakfast. Head to Uganda’s biggest National Park driving along Kampala –Gulu highway stopping over in Luwero district around local market to buy fresh fruits like oranges, pineapples, passion fruits, mangoes many more.
Once at Murchison Falls National Park drive direct to the top of the Murchison Falls where you get to have amazing view of the Nile squeeze through a narrow gorge of about 7-meter-wide and rapturing into violent waterfalls into a whirlpool about 43 meters below. The sight to the world’s most powerful waterfall is worth a visit.
Then after, drive to the lodge for lunch. After lunch at around 2:30pm go for wildlife boat cruise on Victoria Nile. The experience is done under a relaxing ride of about three and a half hours where you get to enjoy up close number of wildlife lying along the banks of River Nile such as hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants, monitors lizards, warthogs and a cocktail of birds like African fish eagles, Red throated bee eaters, skimmers, cattle egrets not forgetting the rare shoebill stork and others.
The boat ride takes you to the bottom of the Murchison Falls for another amazing sight of these wild falls. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Depart Back to Kampala
After morning breakfast at around 6am, head for an early morning game drive by 6:30am. Best time to see the big cats on hunter and nocturnal before they return to their hideouts. You will visit the major game tracks; Queen, Victoria and Albert for unforgettable sights of wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, jackals, hyenas, Uganda kobs, Oribis, buffaloes, waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests, bushbucks and hopefully the elusive leopards and others.
After iconic wildlife experience, return to the lodge for check out of the park and set off your jounery to Kampala with en –route lunch. Dinner and overnight.
