Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – evening game drive
Depending on your agreed location in Kampala/ Entebbe, our safari driver guide will pick you up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park as he briefs you about the safari. As you drive to the southwestern region of Uganda, you will a stop at the Uganda Equator to experience the experiment of temperature at zero degrees Celsius, enjoy taking photos.
After continue driving to Mbarara town to have en -route lunch and then drive directly to Queen Elizabeth National Park while passing through the rolling hills, view of the long horned cattle on the way.
Arrive at the park late afternoon, check into the lodge and rest a bit. Later go, for the evening game drive in Ishasha sector in the southern part of the park – home to the unique tree climbing lions. During your game drive adventure, expect to have great sightseeing of the rarely tree climbing lions hanging on fig tree branches and other mammals like buffaloes, warthog, Uganda kobs, water bucks and many more. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise
Early morning enjoy aroma coffee /tea served with delicious snacks and then meet up with the driver-guide, who rives you back to the Ishasha sector to witness these unique species of tree-climbing lions among other species. If time allows you will also drive to Kasenyi plains a home to a vast number of animal species like lions, African elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, striped jackals, leopards, Uganda kobs, and various species of birds. During your morning game drives, expect to see nocturnal animals before they go back to their hideouts such as leopards, spotted hyenas and other animals like herds of elephants, Jackson hartebeest, antelopes and various savannah birds many more. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge rest and have lunch.
After lunch, you will drive to an impressive Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise where you will be able to cruise near the water species like crocodiles, and hippos as well as spotting different species of animals along the water banks like herds of elephants on bath , antelopes many more. You will also watch bird water species like blue-headed weaver, herons, pelicans, fish eagles, kingfishers, per-historic shoe bill stork and many more.

Day 3: Depart Back
After breakfast, followed by check out of the lodge and then drive to the park for en- route game drive. Thereafter, depart back to Kampala where you will be dropped at your hotel or at any place advised.
