Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge
Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge is spacious luxury lodge ,famously found in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home to endangered inhabitants of the mountain gorillas . Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge is found in Nkirungo Sector of the four gorilla habituation sector – visitor’s reception ; takes a 10 to 15 minute walk to the gorilla trekking briefing point . It also 23 kilometers away from the Rushaga sector briefing point ,a 45 minute drive from the lodge.
Other facilities ; They have two lounge and dining spaces that offers stunning views of our surroundings, the Virunga Vocanoes and the Bwindi Forest. They serve both homemade ad freshly baked bread and warmly furnished with fieplaces.The lodge also has an in house craft shop and the memorable views of the Virungas.
Meal services; The lodge’s garden cottages and Villa rate offers full board arrangement including breakfast ,lunch ‘’packed lunch for guests on gorilla trekking’’ and provide a 4 course dinner.
The lodge also offer special diets but on request. All suites provide all inclusive arrangement with full-time butler service.
Cottages -Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge ;
The lodge is designed with six cottage with en-suite ,fireplace and private balcony with panoramic views of either the Virunga’s or Bwindi Forest.
The facility is supplied with power operated on both solar and electric Generator. Charging can be done in the main dining area and in each cottage has sockets for charging. Moreso ,WiFi only operates in the dinning and lounge area.
To most of guests who choose Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge for your comfortable stay in the wilderness – can be having gorilla trekking activity the next day. Take note ,gorilla trekking can not be done without a valid Gorilla Permits which costs USD700 and if your to buy at the lodge – te lodge charges USD30 per permit . You can book your gorilla permit direct from ‘’UWA’’ Uganda Wildlife Authority which is a governing body that manages all the Uganda’s National Parks.
Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can be accessed within 9 to 10 hours drive from Kampala or Entebbe .Alternatively ,you can use a domestic flight -Aerolink Uganda from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip ‘’1:30 hours landing’’
