Detailed Itinerary of the 1 Day Serengeti National Park Safari from Mwanza

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park

You will start early in the morning at 5:00am with a pick up from the hotel. The journey takes about 145kilomters drive from Mwanza to the Ndabaka entry gate which takes 2 to 3 hours’ drive. After registration, go for game drive. You will explore the Western corridor zone, observing masses of residents in their natural habitats.

 A game drive around the Seronera area, you will be able to see wide range of animals like leopards, prides of lions, packs of spotted hyenas, the fleetest cheetahs and other plain animals to see like buffaloes, topi, hartebeest, wildebeest, waterbucks, elands, zebras, gazelles, warthogs among others. It is also a birding destination; more than 100 species can be spotted in a day trip to Serengeti.
