Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and travel to Tarangire National Park
After your early morning breakfast at the hotel in Arusha, you will be picked up by your private driver guide. Proceed to Tarangire National Park and it covers an area of about 2,600 square kilometers.
Tarangire National Park is most famous for its large elephant herds and giant baobab tree species. During your trip here, visitors have chances of seeing big groups of buffalos and healthy populations of lions and leopards.
Visiting it in dry season, expect to sightsee the highest concentration of mammals in the country. You will also be able to see wild dogs and rare antelopes such as gerenuk and more than 550 species of birds to spot all year round. Enjoy your picnic lunch boxes inside the park in the afternoon. After lunch, proceed for another wildlife viewing- you will drive out of the park and drive straight to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar.
