The 15 Days Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania Safari takes you to four neighboring countries Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania; This trip is truly a perfect combined safari place –Rwanda visit Volcanoes National Park.
Uganda visit to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Kibale Forest National Park.
Kenya visits Lake Nakuru National Park and Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Tanzania visits Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The trip starts in Kigali ‘’Rwanda’’ and ends in Arusha ‘’Tanzania.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali city tour – transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, meet your driver and connect to Kigali city for a brief Kigali city tour visiting the Kandt Museum or Kimironko market or the Kigali Genocide Memorial site, or all places depending on your time of arrival in Kigali. Late afternoon, drive to Volcanoes National Park. It is a 3 hours’ drive from Kigali. Arrive and check into your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Golden monkey tracking – Ibya’cuwa village tour –Volcanoes National Park
Have an early morning breakfast, then head back to the park headquarters for briefing about the golden monkeys and be allocated to a group of troops. Connect to the tracking starting point and enter the forest trailhead to search for this rare golden monkey with the help of the park ranger guide. This activity can take about 1-5 hours and is done with a closer view of the other primates in the park such as the red-tailed monkeys, Vervet monkeys among other. An hour given allows you to study about their behaviors, and habits as well as photo shoot. You will return back to the lodge.
Later afternoon, visit the Dian Fossey Museum in Musanze then drive to visit the Iby’wacu Cultural Village Non-Profit organization to enjoy their amazing traditional dance.
Iby’wacu is an impressive place where you will be guided around the place as you enjoy the Kinyarwanda traditions of‘’ Intore dance’’, traditional ceremonies as well as a guided community walk. Connect to your booked accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park via Cyanika border
After breakfast followed by check-out of the lodge and then, embark on your journey to cross to Uganda via Cyanika border to connect to Bwindi impenetrable national park with en-route lunch and a visit to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat trip. You will be able to experience a great view of the 29 islands along the lake during your boat launch. Then after, continue to your booked lodge in Bwindi for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking Uganda – Batwa community tour
Wake up early morning, have breakfast, and drive to the park headquarters with your packed lunch boxes for a briefing about Gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. Later head into the forest for your trek. The trekking experience in Bwindi takes 2 to 7 hours depending on the location of the gorillas on that particular day. On finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour to watch and take photos of these gentle primates, enjoy your lunch packs. After, go meet your driver/guide and transfer back to your lodge.
If time allows, connect to visit the Batwa community people who stay around the park. You will get to know about the Batwa lifestyle and the general history behind it. Later evening drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kibale National Park a capital home to primates, especially the chimpanzees. Arrive in time for lunch and remain hours spend it at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking – Bigodi Swamp
Wake up have morning breakfast, then after drive to the meeting point for briefing about https://www.mgahinganationalpark.org/chimpanzee-trekking-in-kibale/chimpanzee tracking. After, you will trek into the forest to look out for them and once are found one hour is allowed to spend with chimpanzees.
There is no doubt of their presence as the forest is alive with their noisy calls. After trekking, go for a swamp walk in the Bigodi swamp, a perfect area in the park for birding and primate viewing such as Baboons, red-tailed monkeys, Black and white monkeys among others. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe – Fly to Nairobi (Own booked flight)
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer back to Entebbe with an en-route lunch. After lunch, proceed back to Kampala/Entebbe. Arriving in the late afternoon at Entebbe airport for your onward flight to Kenya – Nairobi.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta airport at 16:30 hours with Kenya Airways, meet the driver, and connect to your reserved hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park – 3-4 hours’ drive – afternoon game drive
After breakfast, go for short Nairobi city tour, where you will visit places of your choice with en-route lunch. Thereafter, transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. It’s a 4-5 hours’ drive. Upon arrival, connect for an evening game drive adventure.
Lake Nakuru is a magical site for its large masses of flamingo birds. Other birds to see include; the African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White, and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other African Migrants. The park also is a famous home to black and white rhinos. And other animal species including; buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, and zebras. Return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 9: Morning game drive – transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and connect for an early morning game drive to explore more of the park’s beauty. During the game drive adventure animals to see including the lions, leopards, hyenas, and different antelope species and explore the park’s wildlife spotting animals including the black and white rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, and zebras among others.
Thereafter, drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve Savannah. It’s a 3-hour drive, that leads you to the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in neighboring Tanzania bordering Serengeti National Park. Arrive, check in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Maasai Mara full-day game viewing
After breakfast, drive for full-day game drive in the park with packed lunch boxes in search of Mara’s popular residents. Maasai Mara National Reserve is home to the famous big five games such as the lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, and elephant as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, and vast herds of plain antelope and numerous other wildlife species. The Maasai Mara plains are an excellent site to go for migration season which usually starts early July to amidst October, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, and leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal, and bat-eared foxes. The black rhino is a little shy and hard to be seen but is often seen at a distance if you are lucky on your visit day.
Mara River is the habitat of a very large school of hippos and Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new fresh pastures. As the sun begins to edge dip into the horizon, it will be the good time for a rewarding photoshoot of the beautiful Mara plains. Later Meals and overnight at the lodge.
Optional activities: Hot air balloon – Wake early and be picked up by the air balloon team for your hot air balloon safari begins in the early morning, just in time for sunrise. It will be about one hour of excellence, as you will be able to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the African bush below.
The capacity for this activity is limited making it a very special experience. Breakfast will be provided in the bush and thereafter connect back to the lodge.

Day 11: Transfer to Serengeti National Park via Isebenia border
You will wake up have an early breakfast, connect for yet another morning game drive by driving out of the park via Olololo gate in Mara West to link to the Isebania border of Kenya and Tanzania. After clearing with the immigration, cross to Tanzania and meet with your Tanzanian safari guide waiting to drive you to Serengeti Game Park with en-route lunch.
Upon arrival to Serengeti National Park, connect to your lodge to the central part of Serengeti with an en-route game drive. The Serengeti offers a perfect adventure of the big five game and plenty of other animals. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Full day in Serengeti national park
After your delicious breakfast is served at the lodge/camp, you will go meet your driver and then drive to Serengeti National Park with your packed lunch. The central sector is known for its masculine lions and other wildlife. Later afternoon, you will drive to Central Serengeti for a game drive.
While in this area of the park, you will have a chance to watch big pride of lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas, Giraffes, Elephants, different Antelopes, and other wildlife among others. Later in the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Another day in Serengeti national park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, meet your driver, and head for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park with your packed picnic lunch. Some of the wildlife to search for include; the Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches, cheetahs’ elephants, leopards, hyenas, rhino many more. Later in the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 14: Ngorongoro crater game viewing experience
After morning breakfast, transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will connect to Ngorongoro crater with your picnic lunch for a half day of game drive in the crater. The crater is a habitat for a number of Lions and Cheetahs. And it is another great safari location to watch various rare black rhinos. In the late afternoon, connect to your reserved lodge for a check-in dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 15: Transfer to Arusha – Departure
After breakfast at the lodge, check out and transfer to Arusha. It’s about 3-4 hours’ drive to Arusha. Upon arrival, the driver will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or at the Airport for your onward flight back home. End of safari.
