Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Diani – Ngutuni Private Sanctuary
Start the trip with an early morning departure from Diani Beach to Ngutuni Private Sanctuary, a wildlife-rich reserve near Tsavo East National Park. On arrival, you will check in at Ngutuni lodge, where your balcony overlooks a waterhole where large gatherings of herds of elephants and other animals can be viewed.
Have a short rest, then head on a Mid-morning game drive across the sanctuary’s plains, exploring predators, grazing herds, and diverse birdlife. You will return to the lodge for lunch with an endless view of the plains before setting off on a guided bush walk with a skilled ranger. You will learn about animal tracks, medicinal plants, and the ecosystem’s delicate balance.
As the sun sets, you will be amazed by a scenic sundowner, watching the sky transform into golden hues. After dinner, you will head on a night game drive while using spotlights and the nocturnal predators to see include leopards, hyenas and lions, and bush babies, porcupines, and night birds, offering a rare chance into the wild after dark. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Sunrise Game Drive and Cultural Village Visit – Return to Diani
Start your day with an early morning game drive. You will catch wildlife at their most active time as the sun rises over the savannah. Watch as herds of elephants, antelopes, and big cats roam freely across the vast plains.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast. Then, you will check out and drive for an authentic cultural visit to nearby Taita Village. You will interact with the local community, learn about their traditional dance performance. A visit to this local community will connect you with the people who have lived in harmony with wildlife for generations.
After this immersive experience, you will be transferred back to Diani Beach, arriving in the early afternoon.
