This 2 Days Safari to Ambosli National Park & Maasai Village starts from Nairobi or Mombasa. It will lead you to visit the famous Amboseli National Park, where open plains, acacias, rocks, thorny bushes, swamps and marshlands dominate the landscape. The park offers excellent views of the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, among others. Transport to use is 4×4 WD safari Van/ a 4×4 Land cruise.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi City to Amboseli National Park

Depending on your location in Nairobi city, you will be picked up at the airport or hotel and provided a short briefing about the safari. You will continue to drive to Amboseli National Park through the busy Nairobi /Mombasa highway. You will drive past the Athi plains and stop at Emali Town, from where you will drive on a rough road toward Amboseli.  Arrive at the lodge for check-in and in time for lunch.

Then, in the afternoon, go on a game drive in the park looking for the resident wildlife. Have dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive in Amboseli National Park and Transfer to Nairobi City

You will have an early breakfast, proceed for a game drive with clear view of Mt Kilimanjaro a snow-capped peak and the view is rewarding in the morning hour. During the game drive, you will look for the Big Five. The wildlife viewing is enjoyable and more exciting as you witness seeing a lion trying to bring down its prey.

After morning game, head to visit a Maasai village where you will immerse yourself in the culture of the people. You will also get to learn about their traditions, customs and way of life thus making an undoubted safari experience. You will have a chance to shop for traditional Maasai crafts and souvenirs.

Later, you be driven back to Nairobi with en-route lunch. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the Airport for your next move.
