Our 3 Days Semuliki National Park Tour leads you to a true lowland tropical rainforest, creating a rich mosaic of species from both the Congo Basin and East African biomes. It’s popular for its exceptional birdlife, among others. Activities to do include: night game drive for nocturnal animals, chimpanzee trekking in the rainforest, and a visit to the Sempaya hot springs. The trip starts and ends in Kampala OR Entebbe.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Semuliki and Night Game Drive
Start your day from Kampala and then drive to Semuliki National Park, where an en-route lunch stop is in Fort Portal.
On arrival, check in at your lodge, relax before embarking on an evening /night game drive to see nocturnal wildlife such as leopard, hyenas, and nightjars. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Park Exploration
After morning breakfast, head out into the park’s gallery rainforest to trek for wild chimpanzees. You will be given an hour to spend with them in their natural habitats. Later, go visit the Sempaya hot springs to see the powerful geysers and experiment with boiling eggs.
Other activities to do, include a day game drive to spot savanna wildlife and a birding experience. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure
Enjoy breakfast and then set back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight, with potential stops at cultural sites like the Nakayima tree. End of the tour.
