Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to the Nakiwogo landing site
On your first day of the 3 Days Uganda Ssese Island Tour, our driver guide will pick you up from Kampala or Entebbe Airport and be transferred to the Nakiwogo landing site in Entebbe as early as 2:00 pm.
At exactly 2:00 pm it’s when the ferry departs. You will start the journey by sailing to the island by ferry. Upon arrival, you shall enjoy the beautiful sites of the second-largest freshwater lake in the world that is Lake Victoria.
You will be dropped at the Lutoboka Bay in Bugala Island and by this time, you will just mention how thrilling the Island is. Check into the hotel, relax, and later take an awesome walk to admire the scenic scenery. Then, the rest of the evening will be spent relaxing as you enjoy the white sand beach.
In the evening, you can request for a campfire. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/lodge.

Day 2: Forest walk, Swimming, fishing at the Ssese Island
After having a relaxed breakfast. You will begin your beautiful day by watching the sunrise. Then after, embark on a guided forest walk within Bugala Island escorted by a trained guide to lead you through important places around the Island while explaining the history behind the Island as well as the cultural significance of each view. The guide will also help you to locate the best birding site some of the birds to be spotted include; African fish eagles, palm nut vultures, Jewel pygmy kingfishers, hornbills, paradise flycatchers, barbets, grey parrots, Turacos many more, have primates viewing like monkeys, sightseeing of beautiful butterflies and others wildlife species can be seen while on a walking tour around the forest.
After the forest walk, you will go for a boat cruise to visit the fishing land sites around and learn about their fishing lifestyle. Enjoy memorable photography around the site as much as you can. Go for lunch.
Thereafter lunch, you will engage in thrilling optional activities as an optional such as sunbathing, beach games, swimming many more. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Return to Kampala or Entebbe Airport
After having your delicious breakfast, follow the check out of the lodge and be driven back to the mainland to be transferred back to Entebbe or Kampala. The ferry departs Bugala at exactly 8 am and arrives in Entebbe at 11 am.
Our safari driver will be at Nakiwogo waiting for you to drive back to Entebbe Airport to catch up on your departure flight back home or at Kampala at your hotel. And we believe you will leave with unforgettable memories on your Uganda Safaris.
