Amboseli National Park is renowned for its magical backdrop of majestically Mount Kilimanjaro, home to large herds of free-roaming elephants, and its diverse mosaic of habitats, comprised of plains, woodlands, swamps, and marshland. It is also known for the cultural heritage of the Maasai people who live in the area.
Location of Amboseli: It lies in southern Kenya, near the border with Tanzania, estimating 150 miles (240km) southeast of Nairobi, with its perfect views of Mount Kilimanjaro being on the Tanzanian side of the border. By road covers a 3 – 4-hour drive from Nairobi.
Wildlife in Amboseli; large elephant herds, ‘Big five’ mammals, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino are absent due to poaching, and other animals include cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and hyenas, and more than 400 bird species are recorded.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Start your trip from Nairobi Airport or your hotel in Nairobi and then drive to Amboseli National Park. The park is popular for its vast herds of elephants as well as the Big Five, and offers a famous view of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch, enjoy lunch. After lunch, proceed on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2: Full Game Drive in Amboseli National Park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge, followed by a morning game drive in the park. The park is home to various wildlife and a vast variety of birdlife. Amboseli National Park offers the perfect view of the popular Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Return to the camp for lunch. Then, you will proceed on an afternoon game drive in search of animals. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp/lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park
Leave Amboseli in the morning after a heavy breakfast at the camp, and then be transferred to Tsavo East. You will enjoy an en-route game drive and arrive at the lodge for check-in. After lunch, proceed on an afternoon game drive in lookout of wildlife. Later, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Tsavo East /Depart to Nairobi or Mombasa
After an early breakfast, you will continue for a game drive until 10:00 am before you are dropped off at the train station for the noon train to Mombasa. Arrive at Mombasa station, where our transfer vehicle/driver-guide will be waiting to drop you off at the hotel.
End of 4 Days Amboseli and Tsavo East Safari.
