Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
You will be picked from the airport – on arrival by our guide and then brief you about the safari as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will drive through beautiful hills of Rwanda and cross over to Uganda via the Cyanika /Katuna border. The journey allows you enjoy stunning views of the Kigezi hills and valleys. You will continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and upon arrival at the park, check into the lodge to refresh, dinner and overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge – Midrange or Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge – Budget

Day2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
You will have an early morning breakfast, leave the lodge with your packed lunch at the lodge. Then after, head to the meeting Centre for briefing. After briefing about gorilla do’s and don’ts, be allocated to assigned gorilla family.
Gorilla trekking seems to be tiresome and strenuous – so you need to inform your guide about your level of fitness so that he can get you easier gorilla group for trekking. You will walk into forest trails under guidance of park ranger guide who will allocate you to assigned gorilla family. On finding them, you will be allowed an hour to spend with gorillas as learn from their sweat behaviors, habits, grooming, enjoy photo shoot as well as capturing videos. After a great encounter with these gentle giant of the jungle, trek back to the meeting point to be rewarded with gorilla certificate and then meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to Mgahinga National Park. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Chahafi Resort – Midrange, Travelers Best Hotel – Budget

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga National Park
After an early morning breakfast, will be drive to park headquarter for briefing about golden monkey rules. After the briefing, you will then start the search for these active species in their natural environment the bamboo forests. These active primates are rewarding with their golden hair . The experience engaged in will expose you to other attractions within the park. After return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast at the lodge, followed by check out of the lodge and then after transfer you back to Kigali. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at Kigali International Airport for your onward flight or be dropped at any place of your choice.
