4 Days Mgahinga Gorilla and Golden Monkey Tracking Safari : This safari tour package takes you to one of the gorilla trekking homes in Uganda known as Mgahinga Gorilla National Park a home to both endangered mountain gorillas and golden monkey species as well as various bird species. On the 4 days Uganda safari, you will be able to do both gorilla trekking and golden monkey tracking in their nature inhabits. The trip starts and ends in Uganda ‘’the Pearl of Africa’’.
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park- 8 to 9 hours’ drive
Transfer to Bwindi: Depending your point of location in Kampala -Uganda, our safari driver guide will pick you up and brief you about the 4Days Uganda Gorilla and Golden Trekking Safari. After transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Southwestern region of Uganda with a stopover at the Quarter to have fun of memorable photography, visit craft shops around. Continue to drive with another stop for en route lunch and after you will proceed a drive to final destination. Arrive and check in at the lodge have rest as you wait for the next day activity.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Gorilla Trekking: After an early morning breakfast served with donuts with packed lunch boxes. Your driver guide will pick you and transfers you to the park head quarter for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking before heading out your incredible experience of gorilla trekking in green beautiful montane rain forest. After a short briefing you will be accompanied by the ranger and you’re free to ask him any question about the gentle giant. The trek can take about 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of gorillas. Once gorillas are found, you will be given one hour to watch them as they play around, feed their younger ones, learn their life style as well as enjoying your packed lunch boxes with memorable picture taking for your future remembrance. After hike back to the park headquarters meet your safari driver –drives you back to the lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking -Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Golden Monkey Tracking: On the 3 days of the 4 days Uganda gorilla and Golden Monkey safari, you will have your breakfast, then return back to the park for your golden monkey trekking. You will receive a briefing from the ranger guide who will guide you in all information on what to expect while in the Virunga volcanoes searching for these unique golden monkeys. After briefing, you will start your hike up in search of the golden monkeys.
If you have heavy luggage’s porters are available for those interested and they help at small rate of money. You will be accompanied by the park ranger guide who will join you to help in case you meet the wild buffaloes and elephants for your safety.
Once you allocate the golden monkey which are swift in their movements unlike the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them. In that one hour you will follow them as they feed on the bamboo shoots among other foods like fruit, vegetable, gain in sight seeing while swinging on tree branches as well as enjoying future photography. After your descent back to the starting point and then drive back to the lodge rest. Have dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 4: Return back to Entebbe
Return to Kampala: Wake up on lazy morning, have breakfast, check out from the lodge and drive back to Kampala with lunch Enroute to Mbarara town. After lunch then proceed to Kampala to be dropped off to your hotel or at Entebbe for your flight departure.
