Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park,
On your first day of the 4 days’ gorilla trekking and Lake Mburo wildlife safari, you will be welcomed by our professional driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then set off to Lake Mburo National Park. On the way you will have a stopover at the Equator where you will enjoy, buy souvenirs and then proceed with the journey to Lake Mburo national park.
Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will go for an impressive boat cruise where you will hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs drinking water along the shores, water bird’s species including kingfisher, bee-eaters, fish eagles, cormorants few mentioned. After the boat cruise experience, drive to the lodge tp your booked dinner and overnight stay at Arcadia cottages-midrange or Eagles nest lodge-budget.

Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Wake up early and have early breakfast on the second day of the 4 days’ gorilla trekking and Lake Mburo wildlife safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to embark you for morning g game drive where you will be able to spot of animals including waterbucks, elands, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, topi, giraffes many more which will be grazing in open savannah plains.
After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and then depart to Bwindi impenetrable national park with en-route lunch in Mbarara town. After lunch you will continue the journey with panoramic views of the countryside, beautiful scenery, Kigezi hills, terraced farmlands and so on. Upon arrival in Bwindi impenetrable national park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge-midrange or Buhoma community rest camp-budget.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will enjoy early delicious breakfast on the third day of the safari, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your skilled driver guide to drive you to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing experience. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where were seen the previous day. During trekking, you will enjoy rewarding views of other primates such as chimpanzees, l’hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, variety of bird species, view different various plant and tree species many others. Once the mountain gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their habits, lifestyle, behaviors, watch them feed, play, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos and capturing videos for your future purposes.
After a one hour stay with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and later meet up with your driver guide to go for an optional cultural tour. You will visit Batwa and enjoy their traditional performance, learn about their amazing culture many more, you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of the 4 days’ gorilla trekking and Lake Mburo wildlife safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive back to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch and enjoy spectacular views of the Kigezi hills, traditional homesteads, beautiful landscape many others. Arriving in Kampala early evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of inconvenience.
