Kibale national park is Africa’s best chimpanzee trekking destination with guaranteed best views of the chimpanzees and other 12 existing primates in the park. It is also a home to 138 species of birds, 250 tree species and 60 species of forest wildlife including forest elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs and buffaloes.
Semiliki national park and reserve is located in Bundibugyo district near Fort portal town adjust to Congo Ituri rain forest. The park is a home to Uganda’s largest Sempaya hot springs, about 53 mammal species and over 400 bird species recorded in this park thus making it one of the top birding destination in Africa earning a title of “True birders Haven”
Queen Elizabeth national park is located in the western part of Uganda offering the great experience of different Antelope species. Queen Elizabeth national park is home to the tree climbing lions in Uganda. The park is occupied by 2 great lakes – Lake Edward and Lake George which meet at a channel commonly known as the Kazinga channel. Queen Elizabeth national park has plenty of animals and other experiences to be enjoy while on your stay in Uganda ranging from wildlife, culture, boat cruise to nature walks for bird watching and chimpanzee trekking.
Bwindi Impenetrable national park is one of Uganda’s oldest national park with diverse rainforest of over 25,000 years ago and contains about 400 plant species. Bwindi Impenetrable national park inhabits half of the remaining endangered mountain gorillas in the world and it is divided into 4 sectors including; Buhoma sector which is the oldest trekking sector, Rushaga sector which has the largest number of gorilla families, Ruhija sector and finally Nkuringo sector.
Lake Mburo national park is smallest savannah national park and has the different species of Antelope and is named as one of the best birding destinations in Uganda. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in East Africa with 44 -900 meters deep and with about 29 islands. When you think of a place to relax and chill after gorilla trekking before going back home, Lake Bunyonyi is the best place because of its cool weather and freshness of the breeze.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kibale national park
Upon arrival in Entebbe airport in the morning, you will be picked up by our company representative and transfer to Kibale National Park. It’s a 6 hour’s drive with en-route lunch and sightseeing. Proceed to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk/Chimpanzee Habituation
Option 1: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi. After briefing from the park officials at 7 am, you will enter the forest and search for the chimpanzees. It takes about 2-5 hours depending on their location. You will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence while taking pictures. After chimpanzee trekking, visit the Bigodi swamp for a nature walk in an eco-friendly environment with many birds and primates to see. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay
Option 2: Chimpanzee habituation: After the briefing, with your trekking gears and water, enter the rainforest to start your search for the chimpanzee alongside your armed ranger guides and the researchers. The search for the semi-habituated chimpanzees is not the same as searching for the habituated ones because the semi-habituated ones are usually shy and run away upon sensing that they are being encroached or become violate. This usually takes a whole day in the forest while the researchers take you through the process of habituating the chimpanzees and on finding the chimpanzees, you will take about 4 hours in their presence while taking pictures. Later evening return to your lodge
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park – Boat cruise or Lion tracking experience
As early morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. It’s a 2-3 hours’ drive from Fort Portal with en-route stop at Leopard Village for about an hour and Kikongo Women Community visit for another 1 hour. Connect for lunch at a recommended restaurant by your guide.
Later afternoon, you have 2 options of activities to do.
Option 1: Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel; after lunch connect for the 2 pm Kazinga Channel boat ride. This boat cruise explores you to the different bird species found in the park, animals such as the Buffaloes, Elephants and many more that come to drive from the lake on the lake shores, the Hippos and crocodiles.
Option 2: Lion tracking; after lunch meet with the research team that will be guiding you for the lion tracking experience. This experience takes about 2 hours depending on the loin of the lions. It’s the only way you are guaranteed to see the lions in Queen Elizabeth national park.
After either of the back options, transfer to the Ishasha sector and enjoy a bush sundown experience and sunrise experience with chances of spotting the tree climbing lions. Connect to your accommodation is booked for dinner and overnight stay at

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Rise up early, have breakfast then do a brief game drive in the Ishasha sector for chances of spotting the tree climbing lions. Thereafter, embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
It’s a 6-7 hours’ drive en-route lunch time. Upon arrival and depending in the time, engage in Batwa Community Walk in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at

Day 5: Gorilla Habituation experience
Wake up very early to a delicious breakfast before you drive off to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla habituation expectations at 7:00. Ensure you carried your packed lunch and water and well dressed for this trekking experience in comfortable trekking gears. Later connect to the starting point of trek in the forest along with your armed ranger guides. You will be visiting wild mountain gorillas that are not under complete habituation and a lot is to be expected so you must be prepared for any good or bad experiences.
These gorillas are usually shy and very defensive when provoked so the need to follow the guidelines of the rangers is very important. It is a full day experience as you are taken through the whole process of habituation and eventually you get to see the gorillas for about 4 hours in their presence while you get to know them more vividly. Later in the evening, return to meet your safari after receiving your certificate of the experience and drive back to your lodge relaxation with good memories of the mountain gorillas, dinner and overnight stay at accommodation as above
Day 6: Explore Lake Mutanda and transfer to Lake Mburo national park (Night game drive)
Early Breakfast and drive to Lake Mutanda for a morning canoe ride and visit the Mutanda island tour/Kyangusha, followed by Otter Viewing Experience. You will also visit the underground Salt Spring at the Gihurada Village. Enjoy en-route lunch in Kisoro town then embark on your transfer to Lake Mburo national park. It’s a 4-5 hours’ drive reaching in the park late afternoon. Check-in at your booked lodge to refresh and dinner. Later in the night, go for a night game drive. Overnight stay at

Day 7: Horseback ride/Walking safari and boat trip – Transfer back to Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a horseback ride or a walking safari in Lake Mburo national park. Both activities involve viewing animals. You can either view the animals while on a horse ride or while on foot.
The horseback ride experience will last for 1 hour while the walking safari will depend on your ability. Thereafter, drive out of the park and transfer to Entebbe. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 8: Departure
