Before securing a gorilla trekking permits, you need to know that your physically fit for successful trip. The elderly or other disabled visitors who are unable to walk long distances –can pay for sedan chairs equipped with handlers, sea belts and a steel foundation. An elder person will be carried by the porters until they find the mountain gorillas. After trekking the gorillas, porters will pick you up and carry you back to the starting location, where the professional driver will be waiting.

Note; Sedan chairs costs USD500 per person. If someone is worried about their level of fitness, they can employ porters to help carry their heavy backpacks and to assist during strenuous portions of the trip. Porters goes at a cost USD15 to USD20 per hour.
