Day 1: Pick up and Kigali City Tour
Kigali City Tour: Depending on the visitor’s location in Kigali, our expert safari driver guide ‘’hotel, or airport’’ will pick you up with a warm welcome briefing about the 2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari. Then you will set off for a Kigali city tour and places to visit include; a visit to the famous Gisozi genocide memorial site where you will have a great opportunity to learn how thousands of people lost their lives in the year 1994.
You will go visit the other splendid city attractions like the local markets where you will enjoy buying fresh fruits, visit the king’s palace, take a visit to Ihema Arts center and getting stunned by the historical gallery all can be done if time allows. Enjoy your lunch.
After lunch, embark on the 2-hour drive journey to the famous Volcanoes National Park while driving through the beautiful mountainous countryside along the way. Arrive at the park late evening, check in your booked lodge, and rest as you prepare for the next day’s activity. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day2: Gorilla Trekking –Volcanoes National Park Rwanda
Gorilla trekking: Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast served with your packed lunch boxes. Your driver will be waiting for you outside to drop you at the park headquarters in Kinigi. You will be briefed by a park ranger about gorilla trekking rules. After, go meet up with the park ranger to group you in a group of 8 people according to your assigned gorilla family.
The trekking experience takes 2 to 7 hours, depending on the movement of gorillas in the forest. Once you locate them, one hour will be given to you to watch them as they behave, feed, play, groom themselves, enjoy your lunch as well as take impressive photographs.
After a great encounter with habituation mountain gorillas, track back to the meeting point to meet up with your driver guide and drives you back to Kigali to be dropped off at your hotel or the Kigali International Airport for your flight departure.
