Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park,
Depending on your point of location in Kampala on the first day of the 3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, brief you about the safari, and then start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you will have an en-route lunch and enjoy spectacular views of the landscape, crater lakes, Rwenzori mountain ranges, and so on. Upon arrival in the park, you will embark on an evening game drive where you will be able to spot animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, elephants, and warthogs and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari, you will meet up with your driver to head for a morning game drive which starts early in the morning to give you great views of early risers. It is commonly done in Kasenyi plains where you will be able to view different animals like elephants, lions, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, bird species like grey crowned crane, red throat spurfowl, martial eagle, black-bellied bustard, Senegal plover, black-headed gonolek, white-tailed lark, rufous napped lark among others, take beautiful pictures of the landscape, sunrise many others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, embark on an impressive boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which connects two water bodies of Lake Edward and Lake George. The scheduled boat cruise takes about 2 to 3 hours ride and gives you a chance to take clear photos, cruise meters away from a wide population of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, and other animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes among others which can be seen drinking water along the banks, aquatic bird species, view fishermen on the lake shores preparing their fishing gears for night fishing among others. After an amazing boat ride, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide early in the morning to drive you to Kyambura Gorge for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest in search of the chimpanzees which takes about 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located. During trekking, you will be able to watch other primates species, birds, animals, and others. On finding the habituated chimpanzee group, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat where you will be able to learn about their behaviors and watch them feed, play, and take photos among others.
After the one-hour encounter with the chimpanzees, you will meet up with your driver guide and be transferred back to Kampala with an en-route lunch. After lunch, you will continue the journey with another stopover at the Equator where you will be able to buy craft souvenirs, take photos, and then continue to Kampala arriving in the evening. Upon arrival, your driver’s guide will drop you off at any place of your convenience.
