Detailed itinerary for the 6 Days Murchison Falls and White Water Rafting Safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park,
Depending on the time of arrival on the first day of the safari, you will be welcomed by experienced driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours’ drive and on the way you will have a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Murchison falls national park and upon arrival you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will enjoy spectacular view of the waterfall, water splashes, listen to the roars many others. From the top of the falls, you go for an evening game drive if time allows. After the game drive, drive to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa safari lodge-luxury, Pakuba Safari Lodge – Midrange

Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to embark for the morning game drive where you will be able to view animals such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, leopards many others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge to have lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an impressive boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls on the River Nile. The boat ride begins at around 2:00pm and takes about 2 hours, during this awesome activity you will be able to view numerous animal species such as the elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes among others along the water shores, view various hippos and crocodiles in water, water birds among others. After the boat cruise you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest
Have an early breakfast , then after carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Budongo forest for chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 2 hours to 5 hours depending on their location in their nature environment .Once you find your assigned gorilla family,you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an exciting chance to learn about their behaviors, watch them breastfeed, feed, play, rest, take photos and record the moments.
After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and drive to the lodge for relaxation or optional go visit the Bigondi wet land for birding or primate viewing.Have dinner and overnight stay at Budongo eco lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Jinja via ziwa rhino tracking
On the fourth day of the safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Kampala. On your way you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will participate in rhino tracking and another stop over for en-route lunch. After lunch you will continue to Jinja. Upon arrival you will connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lemala Wild waters lodge

Day 5: White water rafting
Enjoy your perfect breakfast, meet your driver and connect for a water rafting experience on the Nile, it’s a full-day activity. You will first report for briefing then be provided with rafting gears for the memorable experience. After rafting, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 6: Source of the Nile boat cruise, Quad biking and departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the safari you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for an impressive boat cruise to the source of the Nile where after you will go for Quad biking adventure along the Nile in the countryside where you will go through the local communities, farmlands among others. After Quad biking, you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival ,your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off your hotel in Kampala.
