Chimpanzee habituation is a process where chimpanzees are trained to get used to human presence for trekking permits. Chimpanzee habituation experience takes a period of 2 to 3 years and when they notice are used to human presences. They introduce them to the public. Visitors who engage in the activity spend four hours with the chimpanzees in their natural environment.
